Quail Hunt 12-13-16 and 12-14-16

    Two half day hunts netted 51 birds.Great fun, great guides. great dogs. Red Pebble Lodge, Rebecca, Ga. 2800 acres of bird country. Largest rises any of us had ever seen.

    My Beretta 686 20 Guage O/U 26.5" using extended chokes. Light and fast, great bird gun.

    THAT is on my "bucket list". These are probably early release birds, but that's OK cause I don't think I could bring myself to killing any truly wild birds. They are too valuable. Like to bring my own dogs, though watching any quality dog work is worth the price.
    I understand the "accommodations" are something else !!!!

    That looks just like Dublin, GA. Miss that place. My old house/farm turned into a bed-n-breakfast now! Spent my high school years out there. Brings back memories. Thanks for posting.
