A: About 25 years. Let's see...she stabbed a helpless elderly person 33 times...25/33 = less than one year per thrust of the knife.

(PS - she wasn't exonerated - she actually did it. But, she was only "in trouble" 23 times in prison).

But then crucify a gun owner who puts in an 8th bullet in their magazine in NY.

Maybe some of the local Lib's will give her a job? To stab someone 33 times, especially an elderly person, requires a total disregard for life. Would you trust her to teach your children? Not me!

All I've seen is how the libtards are giddy over how she is getting a "new lease on life". I guess the elderly person this witch murdered doesn't matter to them! Just plain sickening!!!!

It is amazing that Paula Cooper was in prison that long. If you remember back, even the Pope tried to use political clout to let her go. Ruth Ann Pelke was a very kind woman, why do people bite the hand of the good people who actually care enough to help them?

    Lets see:

They took the Pledge of allegiance out of schools and public meetings so young folks lose their respect and pride for God and Country here in the United States.

They took God out of schools and everywhere else they could find.

They took the old fashioned paddlings out of the school systems so there is really no repercussions for doing wrong at a young age.

Then many States deemed the Death Penalty Unconstitutional all together and just decide they can change a sentence that our own Court System handed down.

They give the folks on Death Row more and more rights every year to the point if you are sentenced to death, you are more likely to die of old age than by any corporal punishment.

They sentence you to life but it really means a 10-20 year vacation with (3) squares, cable TV and conjugal visits.

The President and his cronies trash the Constitution, murder US citizens in Benghazi, sell guns to the Mexican criminals which results in countless loss of life including those of US citizens. Then they sweep all this under the rug like no big deal.

Yep, the Libs are right on track.

And you wonder how this murderer with a track record of breaking rules gets a short sentence and ends up on a early out? Come on buzzy, the Libs gotta make sure the poor criminals rights are protected.

Maybe one of the State Supreme Court justices of Indiana is planning on hiring her as a cook or housekeeper! That cou;ld show all of us that he/she truly believes this murdered has been rehabilitated.

Nah, I too don't think this will happen.

They will just send her to the welfare office when she posts her work experience and criminal record when applying for a job somewhere.

Are we confusing Libs with good Christians? A good Christian should wish for nothing other than salvation. God will right the wrongs. Leave it to the wrath of God.

buzzy, I wouldn't worry too much about this particular case. This woman will be a real assest to the community when released. Rumor is she already has a job lined up. She is going to be the fresh new face of the Obamaphone lady. 2014 midterm elections are just around the corner. With her they get to add "you just outta prison, you just off death row" to the now famous, you on social security, food stamps, disability, minority, low income....... you getta sign up for a free Obama phone.

If she has been in prison 25 years, how old is she now? Hopefully she is young enough to hatch out a few, so she can get on ADC, EBT, EIC, SSI disability................ You know with age discrimination the way it is she'll be lucky to find a job, even with all the qualifications and college courses that she availed herself to while in the big house

    Brian,

"And libs don't want background checks done on her ilk either."

Does this mean that you are in favor of universal background checks?

I knew it, if we beat on the nest long enough, a Liberal would come flying out.

Well Johnny, perhaps you're right. There is absolutely NO question that she murdered Ruth Pelke in 1985. The people of Indiana should have sent her to meet God and let his wrath be manifest on her by 1986.

I'm perfectly willing to hand this P.O.S. a "second chance at life"...just as soon as Ruth Pelke gets hers.

    Brian,

Come on, stop hiding. You said "And libs don't want background checks done on her ilk either."

So does than mean you are or are not in favor of universal background checks?

Women want equality! Look at the statistics, women convicted of murder are rarely executed. They want equality only when it is to their advantage, kind of like another "minority" group.
