Not sure if this will help, but one of the neatest ones I have seen are large wooden spools of cable or possibly hose, with notches cut around the top to hold the barrel of the gun. I don't have any pictures, but thought it was a neat idea of something otherwise would be wasted.

Sage Hills up in Reno has a few of these, and I thought they were effective. The "center" of the large reel was a great place for the shell bags, leaving the benches open to actually sit on.

Just an idea....if you have those reels available. I would think most industrial or aeroquip fitting houses would have them wanting them to go away.

Make sure you fill the bottom bar with shot and approx 6" on each upright - to keep it from falling over.

    fla (whatever)

I don't have a problem - you're reading too much into it, maybe a little too thin skinned. I'm not badmouthing anything. If I was building it I would weight it - that's all.

In the immortal words of bart simpson - "don't have a cow man".

FWIW - it is a very nice looking stand and very practical. Now, do you feel better?

Not what you asked for, but the table top racks that I described in "Personal Mail" to you do work well. Everything is up where viewing is easy.
