Headline this morning says the White (sic) Hizzy is dropping its insistence on the Public Healthcare Option. (Conveniently announced _after_ the Sunday morning yakk fests went to air).

So, Obama supporters...your man has sold out to the insurance interests, because of a little squawking from us right-wing open-mouth droolers. Gotta make you feel good.

The gray old lady cat-lover liberals are going to be apoplectic over this. Let's torment them a bit...

Yayyyy.....load fresh magazine, take aim at next issue - repeat after me, DEATH PANELS DEATH PANELS DEATH PANELS...

Now he is busy demonizing the insurance companies and blaming the economy on the previous administration.

Excuse me, Queen Nancy said "We're in charge now" after the 2008 congressional elections.

And we're not all that stupid.

    Except maybe Gibbs.

Keep writing letters (remember to claim you're "independent," even if you're not, because they fear your opinion more that way)...

He didn't win because of his issues. He won because of his personality, and because people were fed up with Bush. Bush is gone, Obama is in the hot seat, and PERSONALITY doesn't give people a PAYCHECK. The ISSUES are his biggest enemy.

Don't give up now. If we lay back and get distracted, they'll just come back later when we're not looking, and add all this crap back in during Conference Committee, or something like that.

Don't be too sure the public option is off the table. The Obama team may be just putting a new label and spin on it: cooperatives. Lets see, $3-4 billion in initial capital from the government, a competitor to private insurance companies (that they don't trust) and a national structure. This sounds like a government option to me. Phil

    This from the AP today:

"Under a proposal by Sen. Kent Conrad, D-N.D., consumer-owned nonprofit cooperatives would sell insurance in competition with private industry, not unlike the way electric and agriculture co-ops operate, especially in rural states such as his own.

With $3 billion to $4 billion in initial support from the government, the co-ops would operate under a national structure with state affiliates, but independent of the government. They would be required to maintain the type of financial reserves that private companies are required to keep in case of unexpectedly high claims.

"I think there will be a competitor to private insurers," Sebelius said. "That's really the essential part, is you don't turn over the whole new marketplace to private insurance companies and trust them to do the right thing."

The one important factor that many seem to miss is the that Obama is obsessed with his own self worth and ego. He will never be defeated with rhetoric, only by allowing him to self destruct will it lead to his failure. Keep on the attack mercylously, defeating him with fact and reality, let him win another battle and he will regenerate his ego. Keep in mind, the man is a camellion with an agenda.

In his mind it will never be off the table, his ego wont allow it, he wont be at peace knowing again he is partially beat, we must get him and his henchmen out and gone forever, no matter the cost. Dont stop now, he's just regrouping before the next fight.
