1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

Hello- confused newbie (again). I just purchased an 11-87 Premier Trap, DOM 1988. I understand it has an overbored barrel (30" stepped rib). I'm also reading that it was designed to take special chokes designed for the overbored barrel. Any idea where I can find these (new or almost new)? I'm also in need of a wrench to remove the existing choke (no idea what it is yet). All advice appreciated- Thanks!!

There were three special choke tubes for these stepped rib barrels and if I remember correctly, they were labeled 1)Full Trap 2)Super Trap and 3) Handicap Trap with the Handicap being the tightest. I have one of the Full Trap chokes I would sell if you are interested. Any Briley/Browning choke wrench should take that out. Good Luck.

The barrels use standard Remchokes, however, with the 740 bore diameter, the chokes don't have the same effect. If an IC choke has 10 thousandths constriction in a .729 bore, Remington's standard diameter, it would have 21 thousandths in your barrel, a modified choke instead of improved cylinder. The chokes made specifically for the overbore (740) barrels are marked to take the additional bore diameter into account. If you know the constrictions of the choke tubes, you can do the math to get the constriction you need.
