promo loads

    any good promo loads for the 16 and 27 yard line

    Here is my standard 16 yd & first shot doubles load:

    Old-style AA or STS Hull

    17.8gr to 18.0gr Promo

    Win or Wolf 209

    CB1100-12

    1 oz of 8.5 Magnum shot.

    We do not use for 27 yd load, I use Green Dot.

    Mash the link above and you should find a bunch of loads listed for Promo. Usually a load producing under or around 10,000 PSI and around 1200 fps would be a good start. I prefer a lighter load for the 16 yardline, but the 1200 fps will do fine at the 27. You can find loads using 1oz or 1 1/8 oz to suit your preference. Good quality hard (magnum) shot is also a good idea.
