Soaked my 1100 trigger assembly in Hoppe's solvent and did the brushing and cleaning. Did it a second time and there was very little discoloration. I decided it was clean. I ordered some Prolix products and they arrived today. Just for grins I sprayed the "clean" trigger assembly. HOLY COW. Black gunk came pouring out. Either the parts are dissolving or they're really clean.

The big test will come this weekend when I put some shells through it.

I searched TS and SW for "prolix" and didn't find anything. Has anyone else tried this stuff for cleaning and lubricating? Oh, it smells good, too.

Well I may have to pass for $26/16 ounces. But the products looks like it performs well.

    **Update**

I take that back, at that price that is only $1.62/ounce. Not bad

Well, either Hoppes doesn't work or your trigger assembly wasn't really clean.

Kidd, how does that change the price, are you only going to buy an ounce? How bout looking at it this way, it is $208/gal.

Calkidd , The best cleaner I've used is gasoline. works great. I get mine free now that I found out how to do it on the gas tank thread.
