The stock and forearm came from Coles in Maine. They have several sets for sale on thier website, starting with standard wood for $300 to AA for $900.

The stock on this gun had a large area hollowed out around the sock bolt,
which ment I had to epoxy the recoil reducer in the stock.

I have a 686 Silver Pigeon from 1996, I am thinking about a higher grade wood set from Coles also...did you have any problems fitting up your Cole wood to your receiver..., did the butt pad come with the wood...???
    any additional info appreciated, thanks...

The stock did not fit on the gun when I received it. I had Chris Vendel
fit it to the gun and install the kick-eez pad. The stock didn't come with a pad, but did come with the stock bolt. Chris did say it took some time to fit the stock. You might ask Coles what it would cost to ship them your gun
    and have them fit it.

The barrels are 30" optima that I bought used from Mike Battista at
Silver Dollar. They were lazer ported on the bottom barrel and had
a sloppy ejector on the bottom barrel that I replaced.
