1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Anyone having problems posting pictures for your for sale items. Whenever I try to post a picture it takes forever and many times the Internet times out. Is it the TS site or my Internet provider?
    Thanks
    Ed

Ed, I too have always had trouble trying to add pictures on this site. What I have found to work without any problem is to put my pics into Photobucket. Then copy the HTML code for that picture and paste it into your post on TS. Be sure to drop down two spaces from your text and also between pictures. It will look like jibberish but when you enter your post the pics will appear. Try it. Any questions? I will try to help. Marc

you may have too large of a picture. Try adjusting your camera to less pixels and it will load faster

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. I think it may be the camera. Will adjust and try again.
    Thanks

    Cameras take photos for printing.

Usually when posting to the internet such a large file (photo) size is not needed.

The RESOLUTION (DPI) I would suggest for posting be set at 72.

Also, no reason to post a 1800x1200 photo.

    800x600 would suit most..

This can be accomplised in any photo program...

Those with slow connections will thank you!
