PRIMER PROBLEMS ?

    Lasy week when reloadind I dumped out 2 rows of primers at a time, bottoms up, I noticed a couple had the little cover over the primer were dented in, not covering the hole completely, not sure if this affects the primer firing, but I pulled the to disguard them anway. Any answers too this??

    Might cause ignition problems when using a fine grained ball powder. HMB

    I dont believe its a problem. seen the same with winn and rems ...It could be the only targets I miss though...

    It shouldn't be a problem unless you are using very fine grained powders. The idea is to keep the powder out of the primer, and in the cavity in the hull where it belongs. Most large flake and larger grained powders will not have a problem with the covered/uncovered flash holes.
