Primer Brisance

    I think that this has been covered but I don't seem to be able to locate it. Does anyone know the relative brisance of Winchester 209, Cheddite 209 and Fiocchi 616 primers? Thanks.

    They are all medium primers. Any difference matters more when you are loading to the limit of your components. Mark

    Thanks. It appears that I'll be ok in substituting Fiocchi 616 primers for Winchesters and Cheddites that the Alliant book calls for in 28 ga loads using Pro Reach powder.
