A picture is worth a thousand words and this one says it all.

See picture below after reading the short story.

A man had a TV on in his office when the news of the military base shootings came on. The husband of one of his employees was stationed there. He called her into his office and the minute he told her what was going on, she got a text message from her husband saying, "I am okay."

The cell phone started ringing right after that. It was an ER nurse. She said , "I'm the one who just sent you a text, not your husband."She thought the message would be comforting, but she immediately knew she had to let the wife know what was going on.

She said, "I am sorry but your husband has been shot 4 times and he is in surgery."

The wife left Southern Clinic in Dothan and drove all night.

Miraculously, here is the photo I just received from my brother that was taken today in the hospital room. He is awake and will recover. His wife, who lives in Dothan , made it to Ft. Hood about the time he was waking up. He had visitors. It was NOT Obama!!!

This is not the kind of story that is carried on the state-controlled media. The Bushes are

    "real people."

This show what a class act we once had in the white House. I had heard press reports that the Bushes visited Ft. Hood shortly after the attack but this is the first photo I have see.

I always liked dumb old George.

He isn't the smartest guy; or the glibbest; but he is real - or as real as a politician can get nowadays.

He is proud of being an American, and not afraid to show it.

He has a special fondness and respect for the military, and is not afraid to show it.

    America sure have traded down.

So? He went 2 weeks later. Big F'n deal.

What's he supposed to do? Push the ER Doc out of the way for a photo op next to a guy on the gurney?

Perhaps he should have flown in with the press corps, stayed for a few hours, and told people not to rush to judgment. Oh, there's a President that already did that.

Bush did it because he wanted to. Not because there was a camera somewhere.

This picture was taken 2 days after the shooting, not 2 weeks.

I'm dang sure them poor soldiers that got shot by that Muslim Terrorist AH would just as soon not get visited by their cheer leader BHO.

It will probably be 50 years down the road, I know I won't be here to say I told you so but I'm betting that true historians will have a very good story to tell of GW's time being President, how he handled 911, brought the country together and will end up being remembered as one of our better presidents.

BigBore, yes but it will also have a "and failed" and the tried part. Obama's legacy is yet to be determined. Why do you guys want him to fail?

Trappy, do you truly have any idea where this group of idiots are attempting to take our country and way of life? I suggest you start studying American history in the fifties to understand what's going on today and where/what these people are doing to our country! Turning my country over to the U.N. isn't my idea of what's best for America and capitalism! That's their way of side-stepping our constitution in case you aren't aware? You want to wait for such a legacy before your eyes are opened, too late? Wake up young man!! Hap

    What sliverbulletexpress said.

Trappy, we don't want the Republic to fail, but the folks wanting to turn this Republic into a Socialist State must fail if it is to survive.

You will not always be young and hopefully, not always dumb. Please do not be ignorant of the past, or you will repeat it.

Socialism has been found by the rest of the world to be doomed to failure. Democracy is a successful way to run a nation.

Do YOU want to grow up and grow old in a failed, third world country? The present Administration is doing what they can to see that you do.

    God Save the United States.

Suppose dumb ol' George stood there and said, "You people sure make one heck of a photo op?" Funny how the libs used to call HIM arrogant. Hilarious.

Bush both of them would always look out for the people around them. Young Bush would ask a S Service agent how is your wife. This is when she was sick. The best part was he asked with meaning and caring. He just didn't ask and then walk away like the Clintons. The Bush family was liked by all because they cared.

Obama is at the prison talking to his fellow brother. He doesn't care about the people that were shot and now in the hospital. What an a$$

Well, "I" want that Kenyan to fail. He is trying to socialize the country and I want him to fail. He is trying to destroy our economy and I want him to fail. He openly wants to redistribute the wealth and I want him to fail. He is trying to diminish our nation's security and I want him to fail. He is trying to gut our military and I want him to fail. He is expanding the role of government and I want him to fail. He is repeating the mistakes of Roosevelt and I want him to fail. He is putting people out of work and creating an entire class of dependants and I want him to fail. Trappy, shall I go on or do you still not get it, you Marxist puppet.

Sure, W butchered a word or two, but this bozo doesn't even speak in complete sentences!

Trappy. You're still drinking that old DemocratKoolAid. The only folks that talked that "failed policy" tald are uber libs and nearly all of the socialist bent media. Few will remember any of the libs or the lib media types but GWB will be remembered as one of our strongest and better presidents. You will probably live long enough to see it and by that time you will believe it.
