There is usually a running thread about this but I did not see a current one so I wanted to see what was going on in other parts of US. Here in the Atlanta area shot has come down to 30.00 from 32.00.There are no major suppliers in this area so I think the one or two places that carry it take advantage of that fact.

I wonder how many are buying 5-10 bags at $22-24. In a couple of months, if prices jump to $28-30, we will hear them pissing and moaning.

If you do not learn from history you are doomed to repeat it.

I recently "hoarded" another 3000 lbs. I figured there was a greater chance it could go up $5-10 a bag than down another $2-4. If I am wrong, I will get another 2000 lbs when it drops to $20/21. Cost averaging works for me and I do not sweat trying to catch the bottom of the market. One good thing; I have the most costly component cost behind me. As long as I can get primers, wads and powder I can keep shooting.

With primers and powder I am presently more concerned about availability than price. A twelve month supply is what I feel comfortable with. YMMV

28 dollars for the cheapest shot and 35 dollars for extra hard shot. I am going to lose my source for the hard shot because they are closing down. I will then be paying 38 dollars for hard shot.
