My elderly friend is packing for Florida and does not want to haul shot. Curious as to price of shot in Florida? Silver Dollar? or anywhere in Tampa area. He shoots sporting clays and skeet. Thanks for the help.

At $42.00/bag he should haul it. SCREW JOB. We are at $32.00 here, reclaimed is $16.00. Don't you just love Florida, where they jack the prices just because of God's free sunshine!

Gamaliel Shooting Supply is charging $36.50 for Lawrence Brand Magnum Shot before shipping. It was $37.95 just a few months ago.

I'm sure the club would welcome the opportunity to purchase name brand magnum lead for $32.00 (Delivered), but not likely in the south.

SHYDA, in PA, dunno if CAC has their's yet. It's the cash price, though + 6% PA tax.

Does the salt in the soil effect the lead as it lays there?

The last bag of chilled magnum #8 shot I bought at the Jax Trap and Skeet Club was over $50 by the time they added the state sales tax. It's the same price just about everywhere around here.

Last week the price of shot at the Silver Dollar was $36 per bag. As I understand it, the price went down for the Dollar and Bill, the manager, passed the savings on to the purchasers.
