I bought a new trigger from remington at the grand for $100 + tax.
I walked down to Phillip's and he but a release in it for $175.

The gun may be new, but I doubt the trigger is. There are so many used 1100 release triggers around it's almost silly to have one built. There are a lot of all steel triggers made by Timney long ago. They go for $200 to $250. Regular Timney and Schwab trigger, $125 to $150. Spears trigger, $150 to $175. Most of the Schwab and Timney triggers are converted 870 triggers in which the slide release had been converted to reset the release. Spears made both.
