    $125.00 at Shyda's in PA.
You'll pay extra in southern Florida due to higher shipping costs.

I found a new neighbor that has health problems that has a lot of powder he is selling because he can't shoot anymore. The only thing is I have to buy it all. I only want 1 jug of RD. He has 2 or 3 and 1 or 2 Promo and a Claydot & 4 jugs of WST 4#ers, If I can get it for for a decent price I will sell most of it and keep 2 RD. He will be back home after the 1st and I will see him then to get a price on it all. He sold his Spolar, primers and all the lead he had already The last time i was able to get any in NY I paid 124.00/8# and that was early 2016.

I had a shop in NY and recently moved to FL. I tried to find powder in NY to order before I moved but had a difficult time finding anything in driving distance & shipping was way to much and I could only haul a small mount down here. I checked on opening a small shop here but location, rent , ins. and permit to sell powder is to expensive to do that. I have shot, primers loaders already and only about 3 lbs. of Red Dot left. but may sell all that and buy factory loads I don't plan on shooting as much here as I did in Central NY.

    Thanks

Buy it all and you won't have to look for powder for a while, depending on how much you shoot. They are all good 12ga powders in my opinion

Many retail storefront operations are using internet pricing including shipping and haz mat when pricing powder. Not really fair to the walk up retail consumer. I have heard on more than one occasion "thats what you would pay on the internet." That's when it's time to walk.

Many retail storefronts have to pay the Haz-Mat & shipping to get the product to their shop. When I opened my shop I could get 70 lbs. in one box. When I closed it was 32-48 lbs. per box max. depending on where I bought. I could not get much at all from late 2007 until I closed in 08/16. I marked up powder about 7.5 to 8% and didn't mark up the Haz mat or shipping but divided that cost by the number of pounds in the shipment and added it to the final cost.

btbanger, it was 255 miles one way for me to go to CAC. 510 round trip and over 10 hrs. travel time. 13 mpg. it was over 38 gal. of gas. and I could not haul enough to pay for the trip. Thats one of the reasons I retired before I originally planned and moved South out of Hellhole NYS.

Shipping from CAC runs about $48 for four 8lb jugs, including hazmat. That is still cheaper than running down to my local store and buying it, assuming they have it at all.

Last shipment I got shipped to my shop in NY was 62.00. That's 15.50/jug added to price so 118.50 plus haz mat comes to 134.00.

May I suggest buying in bulk, making one trip per year and don't
worry about a three hour drive,
Look at the money you would save!
I live in Michigan and make a buy once a year
when I attend the PA State shoot.
Well worth it in ever way!

I think if you buy over $3000 worth of product at CAC you can get them to ship it to you on their truck. It takes awhile to schedule it and you have to be available to unload it. No hazmat fee.
