He is saying that he thinks the people voted the way they did because the economy is bad. Of course that is one of the reasons but he does not see that we are tired of his admin shoving crap down our throats without considering what we want. He just dies not get it and he wants to continue his agenda. There is going to be a lot of resistance now. It will be a non prodictive House this next two years but it is needed. We need to get back to reallity. This is the worst pres I have seen in my 68 years

The only way he could have topped it, would have been to pick Blagojevich as his running mate. Heck, maybe he will next time around.

Tinman, noones confused. And the fact that you stand there and say he's not in control is obviously denial. If he's proven anything it's that the president is incredibly powerful. Obama knows the score but he's not going to stand up there and announce "I think I'll go home now". He's still our president so we all had better be praying he does something to help the bipartisan mess that we call our government. You had better be telling your congressmen that we want some change away from big government or we just might wait til it's too late to do anything about it.

I can tell you one thing.... If Sarah palin gets the nod in 2012, Obama will be back for four more. There's no way she will ever get elected.

Obama is not the problem. Nearly 50% of the population still believes this guy....so the real problem is that boob next-door neighbor you are subsidizing.

I can't wait till Palin is the President. Do you think she'll pick Christine O'donnell for VP?

    Love the bumper sticker!

Obama is an idealogue - a toe-tag socialist - he will never shift to the center like Bill Clinton did after getting trounced in the '94 mid terms. Obama might say he gets it (maybe) but he will be lying as usual. The one controlling the purse strings (or what's left of the dollar) is George Soros. This guy has been meddling in our liberty and the American Way for way too long. He wants "an orderly decline of the dollar." He wants to undo everything we hold dear, including the 2nd Amendment. In the words of Glenn Beck, "It's time to go bye bye!" The sooner, the better for our country. J

ps Lou, I thought you were 48!!!

So if it's the economy, then why did the majority of the Dems who voted for the health care fiasco who were up for reelection get the boot? In fact, suppoedly all of them in the house got the boot, but I haven't been able to verify that yet.

Obama is to full of himself to get anything that is not what he wants it to be ... He is on a slippery slope now so a bunch more of the American public has to be ready to eliminate him in the next election and be done with it ... Like a lot of people are saying not all of the American public have lost faith in this clown, but hopefully they will by the time they have to cast the next ballots ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Of course the economy is a big reason the election went like it did bit I feel that Obama's arrogance and the fact that he ignores what the people of this country want is what is his downfall. And he ain't through falling yet
