Anyone with information on Precast Concrete Specialities Trap Houses? We are interested in ordering 3 for our range expansion at North Hollywood Sportsman's Club. They come out of Wisconsin, so how much is transportation to California? Are they well built? Cost of purchase vs. cost of making our own?

I would think you could find a local casting yard to do the same thing

Look in the yellow pages for the people who do the form castings for homes. You know the people who go to a new home site and build a form for the basement walls. They can do the same thing for a trap house. It would also be nice to have a door to go in and out of and not have to crawl in and out of the house. I hate to get wet. With that way of building the traphouse you will not need a crane to put it in place. A crane cost alot of money. When you do what ever you need to keep the trap house dry inside. Get 5 gal buckets of roofing tar and coat the outside walls. Then out the foam blue matts over the tar so when you fill in around the walls you don't damnage the tar. it wouls also be good to put a drainage pipe in to remove any water that will get in and around the house. Have the pipe come out to day light.

We here in the east use a basement for alot of things. In your part of the counrty you can use it to store your fruits, nuts and your cheap wines. Hope this helps.
