1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

In NY the assault rifle ban did not lapse. The lawmakers made it permenant at the state level while the federal assault rifle ban was in effect. They passed the law saying that the clinton ban would never expire, so it really wouldn't make a difference.

We see how that panned out.

    Exactly what Remstar said.

Basically we can't have any magazines with 10+ rounds made after 9/13/1994 but we can still use preban mags. The law (and NY state in general) is a joke.

So........are there production dates stamped on Glock mags in New York? Could you post pix of yours (from the back of the mag, assuming that's where the info would be stamped) so we can see the difference between restricted states mags and free states mags?

    Thanks!

    They are 9mm, the G19 are 15rd the G17 are 17rd.

    rrocketman,

There are no production dates, you can only tell by manufacturing marks. Preban Glock mags have "U" shaped feed lips.
