1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

SOLD---SOLD---This is a pretty unusual Browning Superposed. It's a pre-war gun that was sold by Browning on September 2nd. 1938. There is no record of who bought it or where it was sold. I have spoken with the Browning historian. The gun is a Diana Grade trap gun with quite unusual engraving. Stags on one side and wild boars on the other-with some birds on the bottom. It is totally different from the Diana's we know from the 60's and 70's. The serial number is 15738. I'd rate the gun as very good overall The bores and mechanics are excellent. It has the Browning single selective trigger that selects on the safety. The LOP is 14 3/4" over a non-original pad. The wood is very sound and also in VG shape. The 30 inch barrels are marked and bored modified and full choke. The vent rib appears to hand matted and is attractive. The front ivory sight is broken. I will replace it with a current one if you wish. The forearm is a very early beavertail style that is unique! There is a gold inscription on the barrel that presents the gun to B. N. Honea from Amon G. Carter in 1945. If you google Amon Carter you will be overwhelmed with information about this very famous Texas gentleman. There are stadiums and lakes named after him. He was friends with many of the influential people of the 1st half of the 20th Century. He founded the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in 1905. His accomplishments are many and varied. Mr. Honea, was a VP, I believe, and you can find references to him also in the Carter information. So that adds a little interesting provenance to this gun and makes it a fine collectible as well a fine shooter! So--who would like to add this interesting Browning to their collection? The price is $2950 delivered to the lower 48. Email me or call Bill @ 609-658-7739
