While being in MO last week for the Fall Handicap I had the pleasure of gathering up a couple of buddies and driving down to an old friends home and visit with him a bit.

Anyone who has been around this sport very long knows him.. Eddie Schneider

Eddie has been battling some health issues for a good while now.. They put him in the hospital late last week for some test. He's a fighter and he's strong, but he needs some prayers.

God loves you Eddie.. Get well quick and get back out here with us !!

Spent some time with Eddie back in July...he looked pretty darned good then. We had a great time dining out and rehashing the old days. Sorry to hear of this setback. Sending good thoughts his way.

Really sorry to hear this and hope all comes out for the better. Eddie always had a good word and was friendly anytime I worked with him on the chain shoots. Good luck.

The first time I met Eddie was at The Silver Dollar. He was pulling for the Southern Grand, back in the early eighties. I was missing straight-a-ways and Eddie heard me lament about shooting over them. He offered, "......you're not shooting over them, you're under them, son".

I was shooting with Dean Bright and asked him ".......just who the hell is that guy?" Dean said that he was Eddie Schneider from MO and he knew more about trapshooting than you (me) ever will.

I stuck my tail between my legs and went back to introduce myself to Eddie. Friends, ever since.

    Get well Eddie.

Darn, Jerry, wished I would have known that you knew Eddie and were going to see him. I was at the shoot also. I met you for the first time last Thur.

I met Eddie back in the mid to late 70's I believe. I started fishing bass tournaments in the early 80's and shot some during that time when I didn't have a tournament. I think that the last time I saw him was at the NE State Shoot. He told me that he was fighting a form of cancer and seemed to be very positive. He told me that I was more than welcome to stay with him at his place when I fished Truman Lake. I think he had a place right there on the lake somewhere close to Warsaw. Is that correct?

Eddie traveled a lot with a good wheelchair shooter. Ashamed I can't remember his name. Cliff????

Eddie gave me a card the last time I saw him. Going to see if I can find it. I think his phone number was on it. Believe he was doing some painting or something. I sure would like to talk to him. Please let me know if you have any contact information for him.

He will be in my prayers.

    Steve
