RWT, Not really. The term Pork butt is for the front shoulder.

Kevin....low and slow, usually over night. To the 193 or so mark in the insty read
    Dizzy pig rub.

Take those butts to the butcher and have him slice them into about 5/8" thick steaks. Bone and all.Put your favorite rub on them and grill them till they are done. Dredge them through your favorite BBQ sauce a few times and grill again until the sauce carmelizes a bit and even burns a little and you've got a perfect Eastern Missouri BBQ pork steak. I can almost smell em' cooking through the computer.

Did anyone notice the pork rectums are "inverted" ones? Does that make them tighter? LOLLL

Don't have the genie. I have a stoker. But I haven't used it much as the probes were mostly off. Not much good and couldn't get ahold of the guy that sold it. About normal. If I clean it before doing the overnighter.....I have no problem keeping the correct temp.

Son-in-law has the Komodo and it's nothing to brag about. He has problems with keeping it down in temps. Alot of that is how the lid fits.
