Yup. Americans and even gun owners are overwhelmingly for "gun control".

    Uh huh.

Somebody told me Mitt Romney, the Republican, signed a bill into law banning assault weapons when he was Governor. I'm sure it's just internet bullsh!t though.

Polls are a sampling. Where you ever polled? I wasn't. Do they ask leading questions to achieve an end result?

Rick, sometimes common folk lie. Politicians do not lie...they simply "evolve."

Romney lost the election. Whether he signed a bill banning so called assault weapons is totally irrelevant. What the liberal politicians and press are trying to do to the Constitution and personal freedom in this country is relevant.

trapperwads, quote: <i>"Polls are a sampling. Where you ever polled? I wasn't. Do they ask leading questions to achieve an end result?"</i>

You'll find many polling companies are used by either one political party or the other, but they never are used by both. This is because their purpose is to provide the poll results that their employers have predetermined they want. All it takes is to survey the right demographics and ask leading questions, and bingo, you have the results you want.
