I found there have been a lot of threads asking about what trap gun would be recommended. If we have comprehensive suggestion/recommendation for beginners or even veterans, it will be great. Would you join in the poll with your valuable knowledge, experience or opinions? You can recommend any favorite trap guns on the range of below $1000, between $1000-$2500, between $2500 - $5000, between $5000-$8000, between $8000-$12000, and over $12000. Please specify manufacture, model, and any positive comments. I appreciate for your time. Thanks. - Joe

Ive only 2 guns I have shot trap with

My first. Remington 870 exspress 175.00 A few used stocks to fiddle with 200.00
30" barrel 150.00 bondo to make a monte carlo raised comb 30.00 white metal strips found at hobby store to raise rib 45.00. Shot very well with that gun for under 1000.00 bucks. Later added a palmswell and finger grips. ButtUgly but it fit well. I sold that stock returned the 870 to its exspress status.
1000.00-2500.00 My Ultra XT love it! 2500-5000 I seen a few XT combo and berreta combos that where very nice. I dont bother above that range. Could not afford to shoot if a i spent more than that LOL

best under 1K would be my 870 Competition....best O/U period is a 32" Browning Superposed, if you can shoot one....and for big $$'s a new Ljutic SLE Pro would suit me just fine...I have no interest in P's,B's,A's S's or either of the K guns. Nothing feels like a Ljutic...but I've been shooting one for 25 years and I'm biased.
