I was noticing that politicians lack the guts, spine, kahonas, what ever you want to call it, won't say their opponent is 'LYING'. They use: misrepresentation, jumbled the facts, not telling everything etc. If their opponent is LYING, just say it and make them back up what they are saying or prove them the liar that they are. If you call them on it and you are wrong, then you live with the consequences.

If someone, not a politician, is lying they are called on it and made to eat their words, then the public could see them for what they really are. If politicians would just do this then maybe the same old ****** would not be re-elected time and time again. It would also cut out alot of the rhetoric that I am sure everyone is getting tired of.

    Just thinking....

And Nobama looked like the lying, stand for nothing, black racist that he is. Sure wish McCain had questioned him about his 20 year relationship with the racist Re. Wright, the terrorist Wm. Ayers, and his Middle East phantom campaign contributors. Seems the put the mouth muzzle on his hate America wife too. Ahhh, but the Liberal love Socialism and more taxes. Is McCain the answer? No, he's not a conservative, but he will stand up for this country. If the Kenyan/Arab is elected, I see the US becoming more and more like a puppet of the UN. But then, that's what the Lib/Dem/Socialist, George Soros loving fools want.

Big Dog has it right...politicians shouldn't be allowed to get away with the verbal crap that they do. And no side has a monopoly on it either. The way it works is disgusting; suppose a bill is brought up for debate, titled " AN ACT TO PROMOTE ENERGY INDEPENDENCE", which sounds just peachy. Then you look at it a little closer and find that we are supposed to build no end of windmills, solar panels, hydrogen stations, cng plants, geothermal, and that the US Gov't is to pay the bill and get it all done in say a year. So congressman A says he cannot suppport such a piece of madness. Congressman B, who wrote the thing, then announces that Congressman A hates the idea of energy independence and wants to continue sending money to Saudi Arabia.

So I think that, when words are taken completely out of context, then Congressman A should have a free punch at B's nose, and B has to stand there and take it. And A won't be ruled out of order. Wasn't it a Senator Calhoun in Civil War times who caned his bitter opponent on the senate floor? Just a punch in the nose is all that's needed.

    Obama's "Act of Energy Independence":

    1. Everyone gets a government approved tire air gauge.
    2. John Edward's hairspray cans power windmills.
    3. Bat "guano" is used to power coal plants.
    4. Everyone gets a microwave and we "nuke" our food at the same time.
    5. We roller skate and bike to work (except, of course, Obama. He keeps a limo.)
    6. No drilling is allowed. Except for drilling the taxpayers.
