Years ago a friend decided to build his own skeet field on his property in the country. There were about a dozen of us who shot together there, and after a while we began to find round-after-round of skeet targets getting dull. At first we treid to enliven the game with dropped guns and delayed pulls, but...it was still just round-after-round.

He owned an old batterd pickup, and a spare set of traps. We mounted the pair in the truck bed, cranked them up to throw as hard as possible. There was a single station, and the truck drove around the field, throwing doubles at irregular intervals. We called it Polish Trap Doubles.

One good idea breeds another, and we soon modified the game which then became known as Polish Trap Doubles Whilst Seated in a Lawn chair.

Inventive minds demanded further modifications, and someone suggested that in addition the gun should be mounted upside down. That game was known as The Game Which Nobody Has Ever Tried Twice.
