Please post pictures or hunting stories of your pointers. No Flushing dogs or CATS (darn near the same thing). We pointer dudes know that our dogs are smarter than Flushers and cats. Ever see a cat point??? Ever see a flusher listen to the owner???

    Wolfie,

You might want to explain that those Alabama hills are in CA in the Eastern Sierra. You'll have our southern friends looking all over the state for a piece of rock like the one behind you in the pic.

    :)

Oh right....Those Alabama Hills are the easten slope of the Sierra Nevadas in CA. Many of the westerns we all loved have scenes flimed there. Rusty was a big John Wayne fan.

This is Scout. He is the smallest setter I have ever seen, guessin he was the runt. I got him at 9 months, he will be 19 in August. He was always the dominant dog. Looks it huh?

Ever meet a pointer man that could find his dog once he turned him loose?

Bruce, thats cause the dog is on point in the high grass, faithfully waiting for his master to flush and shoot the bird ;)

Here ya go Bruce. This is Copenhagen. He would honor the setters points and retrieve birds. Got him at 9 months. He passed 1 year ago at 16. The setters would never play with him, He would come to me and pout about it.

Post all you want. Thats the purpose of the thread. Don't tell Bruce, but one of my favorite dogs was a black lab named Reba. Had to put her down @ 8 years.
