I HAVE A KX-5 AND HAVE THE RIB ADJUSTED ALL OF THE WAY DOWN TO MAKE IT SHOOT TO ITS HIGHEST POI AND HAVE THE COMB SET WITH ONLY ABOUT 1 AND 3/16 INCHES DROP.I SEE ROUGHLY ABOUT 3/8 INCH GAP BETWEEN THE BEADS OR MORE.I HAVE A FULL CHOKE IN THE BARREL AND I'M HITTING THE TARGETS HARD. MY EYE IS FAIRLY HIGH ABOVE THE RIB AND THIS MAKES ME WONDER IF IT IS A PROBLEM KEEPING ME CONNECTED TO THE GUN AS EASILY AS HAVING THE SAME POI AND HAVING A DROP OF 1 AND 1/2 INCH DROP AT COMB?

i HAVE SHOT A FRIEND OF MINE'S KOLAR UNSINGLE AND IT HAS THE RIGHT POI FOR ME WITH THE COMB DROP OF ABOUT 1 AND 1/2 INCHES.

HOW CAN I GET THE DROP OF COMB AND POI I LIKE ON THIS GUN? ADDED RIB OR WHOLE NEW RIB ETC?

My Kolar topsingle worked best for me when I shot a higher comb and saw "a lot" of rib between the beads. Very much like you currently shoot. I had the same consistency worries as you so I had Dennis Devault add on a delrin rib that allows me to see a consistent bead on bead line up as I prep for the call without messing with where my gun hits. Did I really need this Probably Not. Do I like it better than what I did before YES. Was it worth what I spent I think so. Also remember the change I made actually did not change where the gun hit for me it just gave me a little peace of mind just before I called pull.
