Grntitan mentioned this in another thread, but the Walmart at Sparta has plenty of flats of shotgun shells.

In Remington Nitro 27`s they have in excess of 200 flats of trap-legal shells.

Also, over 100 flats of Remington Nitro 27 Sporting Clay shells.

Winchester and Federal are also available.

You folks better be thanking the Lord for such a good stock of shells. We Californians cannot find shells anywhere at any Wal-Mart of even online. And if they do have any shells online, they are either slow or shoulder breakers. If you don't believe me, check Cabela's, check Bass-Pro, check Brownell's, they are all sold out.

Around here (nw PA) one chain, Dunhms had one BOX of AA trap and they were "willing" to sell it for only $12.99. I declined their "generous" offer!

They did have a fair stock of 20 Ga.

Just talked to Walmart in Sparta, IL again.

No limit on number of flats you can buy.

$74.00 per flat, plus Illinois sales tax.

9mm ranges from 40 cents to a buck a shot. 9mm was 18-19 cents a shot before the ammo hording. And those prices are for Russian crap.

Be happy to shoot for 20 cents a shot @ 59 a flat.
Be happy to shoot for 32 cents a shot @ 70 a flat.

Winchester is running rebates again. Remington and Federal are not. That makes AA's the better deal!!

Just FYI. The Wal-Mart at Sparta will have many times that amount by August for the Grand. Also they normally don't carry very many of the cheaper shells. They are almost all AA's and STS's. Those are the $74.00 a case ones. If they have any Estates or Gun Clubs they will be cheaper.

Rogers Sporting Goods in Kansas City normally has a very large quantity of Federal shells for trapshooting at good prices. Their website is rogerssportinggoods.com and they do ship out of state and you don't pay sales tax that way (basically offsets the shipping price).

To Jacob Guthrie; Yes you can come over to Illinois to buy shells. Missouri
is a continguous state to Illinois, meaning it shares a border. You and the residents of Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Iowa can all buy shells in Illinois, even though they are not being sold in connection with an event.
