Charter member of the SW Iowa Clowns*, Bob Hudek had a cancer relapse and is getting ready for his (4th??) round of chemo. Right after that, it's stem cell removal, 6 days in a row of tough chemo, replace stem cells, then a stretch of isolation.

I know some of you know Bob, but I'm sure a message from fellow shooters he may not know would be appreciated, too.

He has a Caring Bridge page set up at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/bobhudek

    (also a link above)

Hope some of you might send a note of cheer and support.

    Thanks, Denny

I also talked to Bob at the Iowa Shoot and he was feeling pretty good then.

We can only wish him the best now.

Our prayers are with him and his family.

We took Bobio to a shoot yesterday, up to Harlan IA. Not one of his best days shooting, but he did shoot all of the targets. Peckerwood con-jobed us into buying Dairy Queen for him, so nothing has really changed, just his health. This is his last good week for while. He has lost all of his hair and at least 50 pounds. For the next several weeks Hugedick(his fav nickname) is in for a real butt kickin'. His words, "this is the last time I will go through this". Lets hope it is the last time. If thats the case, we will continue to put up with him. God bless.... my friend.
