Can someone help me with a name and contact number of a gunsmith that could put a release trigger in a Beretta 682? The fellow that has this Beretta is looking for a gunsmith that would do a good job at a fair price? I'm aware of Allem's Gun Craft because I live in central PA. If anyone out there could come up with a few more gunsmiths that could do the work that would be a great help. The fellow the has the gun has several questions he would like to ask before he has the work done. Thanks for any input. Jerry McCoy

Allems did my 682 long ago. (Don't have it any more). Yeah, they're not the cheapest but it'll be a first-class job. A crummy release is the last thing you want to have. Not only will you be out the money, but it'll give you fits.

Spears has a good reputation, as do several others.

My buddy had Phillip Crewegle do his double release in a Beretta and was very pleased.

Skeets Gun Shop did my 682 and I couldn't be more satisfied. Call Dean at 918-456-4749. Reasonable prices, quality workmanship and a quick turnaround. Also, as mentioned above Phil Crenwelge will do a good job at a reasonable price. 210-313-5988. You can't go wrong with either one. Good Luck. Ed
