Plating on receivers

    Does anybody know where to send a receiver for nickel type plating? preferably in the Ohio area. Thanks,Tim Dearth

    Giacamo did mine, but mine's a Perazzi. Excellent job.

    Check out the Metalife process - Ron Mahovsky does it and he is near the PA/OH line (not far from Oil City, PA).

    Great finish, and great guy to work with.

    Another vote for Doug Braker. He plated my K-32 and even repaired a broken part I wasn't aware of; good service and fair prices.

    I need to know if I can get my 1100 receiver hard chromed without removing the magazine tube? I can get the spring tube off but I don't know about the mag tube and got a feeling something might get ruined if it wasn't taken off.
