They will be the best thing for the royals since King Arthur and Queen Guinevere. I think he pulled his fowling piece out of a stone. (Plus she's a babe)

Actually she has become an avid hunter - much more so than William.

    She shoots deer as well...

Speaking as one of Wills' grandmother's "subjects"....I could care less that they're getting married and will be glad when it's over...(my wedding 38 years ago wasn't newsworthy, why should theirs be??)....then maybe I can turn on my tv or pick up a newspaper and NOT have to be subjected to more Royal BS!!!....

    The spear is a 'peg.'

This marks the spot where a shooter is assigned to stand as beaters drive birds towards them.

They are carefully set out so the beaters know where the shots are coming from, and so no two shooters might swing their barrels over someone else on the shoot.

I suspect the stick is mark the shooting peg where the shooter's stand and wait for the birds to be driven overhead. The Pegs are spaced far enough apart to discourage "poaching" on birds flying over your neighbor's position -- a no-no for sure. It looks like they are helping to pick up the bird's --which is unusual as they have well-trained labs and spaniels that take care of that chore.

Shes actually been a keen shot for a long time.

She and one of her college girlfriends started the "Really Wild Clothing Company" which designs and sells very classy womens shooting clothing.

I think she has since onsold her share in the company.

And yes both Purdey and Holland & Holland hold royal warrants, so i think she shall be soon fitted for a pair.

Who cares, It's a shame that so many fantasize over that bunch of inbreds.....If the Brits had any stones they would dethrone the whole bunch. They won't cuz theres too much money to be made off that carnival act.

Just think where we'd be if we had not thrown them out when we did.

Most of todays world problems have been the direct result of that monarchy......and we idolize them.......what a joke we've become.

Yup!! If we were still British..we'd be over taxed...underpaid..our jobs gone to 3rd world countrys...we would have $4.00+/gallon gas..a ton of red tape or exorbitant permit fees to own a gun..unable to profit from our toils without the govt. taking a big portion of the pie....HEY?!? Wait a minute..we already do..never mind : )

    I'll stay on the topic.

She is a lovely lady, not particularly beautiful IMO, but very lovely and elegant. seeing these pictures makes her more lovely.

I don't give a rat's ass about Royalties, I see them as classic celebrities, but I do like the Royal warrants on my jackets. :)

We used to have heads of State who were outdoors people and hunters. Now they are Metrosexuals and worse. (sigh)
