The one in the saddlebag has passed on. She died at 15 the black and white Lhasa is now 11 and loves to ride on the seat...yes she gets tied on......moke
And there was "Kookie", the wonder dug, a mutt, who used to ride on the tank of his owner's RACING Husqvarna offroad motorcycle...completed Barstow to Vegas a few times...look at "On Any Sunday"...MC dogs are great!!!
Great friends, dogs! My riding buddy had a Jack Russell who'd ride on the tank gripping onto carpeting he glued to the tank. Had a little Mets helmet and goggles for the little guy. Babe-magnet whenever we'd stop. AWWW. Sorry you lost the one little guy.
Bought a new Wing the second year they were out - '76. That's when they were sold as standards (stripped). Sold it two years later with 147G miles on it. Never missed a beat. Riding a GSF1200 Bandit now...rocket ship for this old geezer. Different animal than the 'Wing. 147mph on radar last Spring....trooper shook his head. Thank God I'm retired PD!!!!
Thanks for the post/look/see at the doggies. Ride on/break 'em (targets that is.)
Moke, I had to save that pic! She is the cutest little thing. No harm done to grammie...no proof that the bike ever moved from that spot. It's a great photo.
