Need suggestions for the BEST prime rib place in Phoenix area.

I want to send my daughter and here Marine Staff Sergeant husband a Christmas gift certificate for a great prime rib dinner in appreciation of his tour of service in the badlands and her support of his service to our country.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Bill P.

Dillions on the west side, Don and Charlies in Scottsdale and not quite as pricy as anything in the Biltmore area ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

In my opinion, the BEST prime rib in the Phoenix area is HOUSTONS. There are 2 of them in the Scottsdale area. As a side note, the BEST french dip sandwiches can also be had at HOUSTONS; they are absolutely unbelievable.

I second Don & Charlie's. Just to look at the baseball memorabilia is wonderful but the prime rib is awesome also

Houston's gives you real cream for your coffee.

Make sure you send them to El Paso Barbecue to have the baby back ribs.., there are 3-4 in the area but the best one is over behind the Metro Center at 43rd & Peoria. These are the best I have ever had.

I agree with HM on the baby backs at that El Paso BBQ, but Dillions are even better with the Cajon sauce on them ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Don & Charlies, Old town Scottsdale. Especially if you like sports memorabilia in a 'jointy' setting. If you want elegant, you better go to Houston's or the Biltmore. The El Paso Grill is closed as of last week when I went to the nearby TCBY.

    El Paso closed?

Tragedy. Well, there's always the "Q" bar. Try it. 59th and Olive I believe. corned beef and cabbage to die for, all you can eat on Wednesday night.

I have to call my pal about this El Paso thing.

The El Paso BBQ on 43rd Ave. and Peoria is still operational, I drove by it last week ... I'll check it out better tomorrow (Friday) and get back to you ...

Casino Arizona is just off of the Loop 101 at McDowell or the Loop 101 and Indian Bend ... I asked the boss and if there is one thing she knows its where the Casinos are ... lol ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Rustler's Rooste is in SE Phoenix - I-10 and Baseline. Kind of a tourist trap but I hear the steaks aren't bad. Haven't been there in years.

If you have little kids, the Rustlers Roost is a lot of fun for them. Food's average, view is good. Big Longhorn in a pen out front. Unless hunters or PETAs got it.
