For those of you that knew Maggie, she died this morning, She loved going to the shoots and watching people and waiting for some one to give her a treat. She loved the donuts from Martin or going for a morning walk with Elmer.
I will miss her, she was a good traveling companion.

Phillip, I'm very sorry to hear about Maggie. She was a lot of fun to watch running around with the other dogs when she was a puppy.Like the other posts,I would suggest getting another puppy to ease the pain. Do a search on your computer for a poem called "The Rainbow Bridge" Gary Phillips

Maggie looks like she lived the good life ~ There are donuts, treats and walks with good friends where she's gone :) Remember the good memories and you'll see her again along the path.

So sorry for the loss of your friend and traveling companion. I lost my chocolate lab at 12. Go to a local rescue and find a new friend it will lessen the sadness

Would like to tank every one for there thoughts and wishes. I will get another dog but it will be a little while. Don't know if I can find one as good as Maggie was. There wasn't a mean bone in her body. She got along with every body, and never heard her growl at another dog.

Sincere condolances Phillip. We had a Chocolate Lab named Missey. She traveled the circuit with us for several years. We miss her terribly. Your description of Maggie could also describe Missey. My bet is you'll find another "...as good as Maggie was".

We lost our Chocolate after 15 years of devotion, haven't got over him and probably never will. Got a Golden 1 year later, he was spectacular and left us after only 7 years 5 days after getting his annual shots. Neither of us can talk about Bull or Clancey without tears. These retriever breeds are unbeleivable, our sincerest condolences. I could never get my wife to visit Maggie.

Maggie is romping with a big lab fleet right now... Hard to let them go. but they know when their time is up. I recall that well. Bless you Phillip.
