for the price you pay for one you're better off going to a gun fitter. And in my opinion they make a gun ugly as sin. Not that looks are all that important.

Looks ugly but scares the hell out of the other shooters ... scares em enough to rattle there cages and make them shoot like crap type of ugly and that can only help to win!

I will admit that they are ugly if you simply put on the stock as is but with a little creativity and paint they can look great. Maybe not as good as a beautiful piece of wood but great looking in a different way. The important benefit is the that the gun fits and with the PFS stock it can fit most if not everyone. I guess you also have to add the benefit of recoil reduction.

OK Dave... put the picture of your gun on here. It's a perfect example on how to make a real good looking PFS! This is a great looking gun!

I have not used the new ultimate fit comb but I am very interested in learning more about it. I do use a PFS and believe it is the best thing I have ever used.

revsublime- I went through 7 custom made stocks by well known stock makers (including H&H). None were close to being as beneficial to me as am PFS.

I could be wrong..but there is a difference between a stock maker and a gunfitter, no?

I've no idea...Rollin would be the man for this.

When that old guy walks up with a Ljutic and the bluing is worn off the reciever, the forearm is all scratched up and he's got a PFS on the back end. You best take your money and run away with that petty "P" gun. Because, your about to get taken to the cleaners.

I can`t see my gun when it is mounted on my shoulder and I can`t feel any recoil with my ugly PFS. 3 Dram one oz. One can buy a pretty nice looking Mc Carthy Lock stock in the $3500 range. I can envision that some time soon one will see a cloth like cover that resembles wood attached to a PFS. (I might just start R&D one tonite!) One can aleady paint the grip to resemble wood and buy custom wood cheekpiece for a PFS. I have cervical and middle back disc issues, plus headaches. But not using a PFS.

If you email Vern Brown, PFS owner, he will send you a picture of the comb.
