What setting is recommended for the PFS stock to achieve the softest recoil etc. How many turns counter clockwise from being bottomed out is best?

Start at the bottom and go out ten complete turns, to stiff go out two turns a time. To soft go in one turn at a time. Shoot at least ten shoots befor making a new adjustment. Better yet, contact Vern at PFS, he knows his product best and can give the best advice.

dead on 4 is totally correct with adjustments and contacting Vern. Don't adjust it so soft that you start getting a bounce off the shoulder.
