If a gun fits you right recoil should not be an issue ... The advangtages of a fully adjustable stock could or should eliminate the recoil problem if fit is the issue ... The appearance of this adjustable stock is a lot more appealing than the PFS, but having shot a PFS I know first hand that it seems to tame recoil ... Would that be because its adjusted right or due to the recoil reduction system is anybodys guess ... I had the PFS I had set as tight as I could get it so it was not absorbing much recoil as it was designed to do, but was adjusted to fit me right ... The biggest thing between the two stocks is the amount of money they retail for if they both accomplish the same thing, that being correct fit ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

No recoil reduction, not nearly as adjustable, and over 2x the price of a PFS. Not much of an alternative.

    What "skeet man" said.

Over twice the price of a PFS with less adjustment ability and no recoil reduction. Yeah good luck with that one. What were they thinking?

And if you want a custom grip or one for an off-brand gun, it will cost you significantly less than the $1500 difference in price.

I think those who have them are happy (mostly int'l skeet and trap shooters), but I don't see the value vs the PFS.

If I'm going to be spending $2800 (which is for the BASE model, I believe it's $3200 to $3500 "fully loaded") I'm going to Devault for a custom stock...

It looks nice but too much money. The PFS is a deal at $1500.
Now if the price was $1500 to $1800 then it would be worth looking in to.

Gary you got the wrong name and number for Slick Slide recoil system's. My son Adam has taken a job in another town and is no longer building them. I have been building Slick Slides for about 4 years now so give me a call if you are interested. Thanks.
