If you don't feel like signing this petition, then go out and buy the book called "Lone Survivor" written by Marcus Luttrel. He was the ONLY Navy Seal that made it off of an Afganistan mountaintop while on a mission with three (3) other Seals. A total of 21 American servicemen died as a result of that mission, but they did clean up a lot of Taliban trash along the way. I guarantee that you will sign that petition after reading that book. God bless our US Military men and women.

I have read that these men were offered the opportunity to escape court martial, but the charges against them would remain in their records. They chose to undergo general court martial because they refuse to have their names dirtied with these charges, and are willing to face the possibility of imprisonment rather than have their names sullied.

Wireguy - you are correct. They were offered an Article 15 and have the right...and in my opinion the strength of character...to decline and force the military to present a case under the UCMJ.

Personally, I believe they deservice a medal and if they kicked this a-hole in the berry's while at it I would give them a bigger medal.

What the brass is doing is a travesty.

Look everyone, they punched a terrorist right in the belly. What are we supposed to do, just set them free so they go around punching other terrorists?

    yes, yes I do.
all of the navy seals I know (and I know a few)are of the highest caliber. all of them are volunteers and can quit at any time. they do what they do because they believe in what they do,they are some of the best.If they did strike some one there was a reason.
