Peters Blue Magic Shells - Save

I came across a few boxes of these old Peters Blue Magic shells.
Are they collectible, or do I just shoot them? Do they reload well?
Anyone got any info on these?
    Thanks. Mike

Save them and load them with the same data as STS/Nitro. I have thousands and they load as good as any.

I shot them for years, reloads great just need the right remington wad.
A new Blue Peters is being offered now and relaods just like a STS.
    Shoot well and often.

At gun shows any shotshell box with pictures of birds seem to draw a slight premium as "collectibles" for some shooters. Just a thought. Regards, Ed

Don't load them with 700X and Federal primers. They will bust apart in the middle and leave half of the shell stuck in your barrel. Been there and done that.

Shootem. With the tears in the box it isn't going to be a collectible box.

Tripod, 18.5 grains of 700X and Federal primers will bust Blue Magic's in half. When they were popular in the 1980's that was my load, and I remembers having to sharpen a long 3/8 dowel to peal the remains of the shells out of my barrel.

I use its sister hull, the Remington RTL hull - (Premier, greenie) with great results... shoot 'em and reload them - if you won't I know folks who will... (lol)

    best regards,

    Jay
