I am looking at buying my first Perazzi. The gun I am looking at has an R stamped in front of the trigger guard. I would assume this is for "release" but the trigger is pull. Can anyone tell me if this trigger was a release and someone converted it to pull, or does the R stand for something else?

    Thanks,
    John

I think the single "R" was an after market stamp when the original trigger was converted.

It's not difficult to convert it back to pull.

Steve W is the expert here,, but for a short time Perazzi sold releases that were made in the states (McDaniel or Daniels) and the MX triggers were stamped O/R for over release and U/R for you know what.

Thanks. I just bought an older TM1 and it's stamped R but breaks crisply on the pull so I am guessing it has been converted.
