Is there anyone who can convert a bottom-top MX8 trigger to an externally adjustable one? My trigger is highly engraved to match the pattern on the receiver and I can't just substitute a factory adjustable trigger.

    Widdas,

When I bought my new non-selective trigger I wanted to put my engraved floor plate on it, but was not able to as the engraved floor plate was for a selective trigger. I just put the old trigger in when I want it to look good!

Thanks for the responses. I knew the internally adjustable was an option but figured it would be a pain. I guess I'll just keep using 2 light mods or 2 I. mods.

The trigger guard is different with selectable and non. Spur gets in the way on Selectable. Will work if you file the spur down quite a bit.

To convert your regular MX trigger to adjustable trigger you should use my adjustable trigger (five positions)this way you can keep your engraved housing(picture n.1). If you want make selectable you add part #2.

Whiz I shipped your watch out the 20th. You probably are going to get it by the end the month.

    Greetings:
If you send your trigger to Marcello in Italy, he can easily convert it to an internally adjustable trigger. I had him do this with my MX-8 trigger and he did a beautiful job. It doesn't require any permanent modification to the assembly, he installs a inertia block of his own design and you're good to go. Marcello made the conversion, went over the entire trigger, adjusted the pull weight and had it back to me within two weeks. First class work and a true gentleman. Hope this helps. John
