My wife is shooting a TM-1 that the forearm wood and metal are starting to seperate. I know there is an easy fix for this and it involves take the push pin out but I can't remember how it's done.

I would appreciate any and all help on this. Thanks so much and have a great day and weekend.

With the forend off, push in the button and inside the forarm is a small access hole that a small flathead screw driver will fit in. Remove the small screw that comes into view. Pull the button out, and with a 5mm allen wrench tighten up the forend iron.

ric, do this all over a big table with a white towel on it. If you remember, that tiny screw can evaporate in a split second.

Well, I got it apart without having the screw take off and then the next problem. The bolt that holds the metal to the wood is broke. So the next questions is who to get the part from...Giacomo or Pat Laib?

A phone # would be nice also.

I had one years ago that did that....the flying apart thing. The little rod broke and went shooting out. We have no grass at the club....just rocks and dirt. Makes for finding stuff difficult.

Thanks for the number Hairy..I called but forgot about the time difference, and Pat was out to lunch. Hard to believe that he has time to eat. LOL
