I might add...we've sent 6 Mod 21's and 4 P-guns to Giacomo after engraving in the last 4 years. All were perfectly reblued.

I have had Phil FIling of Glenrock Blue (Glenrock WY) do many Perazzis, and other guns including rifles for my customers.

He is the best and his work is just perfect. Very personable and very professional in his bluing AND his prices are wonderful.

Thanks for all your help! I have heard that Giacomo was terrific;I was hoping for someone in the west because it is getting so damn expensive to ship and insure a gun from the east coast to the left coast.I was wondering as well about Glenrock for a Perazzi.

I have never heard a thing on this board about Perazzi Corp in California providing repair services( probably for good reasons).

I appreciate all your opinions:it's a big decision for me because my gun is finally the one and is a perfect fit and don't want to screw it up.

I have to repeat myself because I do NOT want to steer you wrong, but if you over-look Phil Filing at Glenrock Blue in Glenrock, WY you may be shooting yourself in the foot, so to speak.

I have been doing gunsmithing for the last 30 years, and I have used Giacomo and Glenrock Blue. I have also used others but I won't bash them here... a couple of "well-knows" have done sub-standard work on my customer's high-dollar guns for which I took responsibility.

Either one (Giacomo or Glenrock Blue) is terrific, but my preference is Glenrock Blue because his turn around time is fast, his shipping charges are actual, his ONLY business is bluing, expertly, and he is of the Midwestern hard work ethic.

If anyone can find anyone better at this bluing business, I am all ears.

I *just* spoke with Phil this morning - SUnday, and he was working.

I tried to fax him at the number listed, but he didn't have it turned on... that's how I got him.
