Looking at the possibility of moving to a Perazzi Unsingle. Can some of you knowledgeable shooters explain to me just what the differences are between the MX15, the MX10 RS, & the MX2000? They seem very similar to me but I have little experience with Perazzis.

    Thanks for your help.

Basically they all function the same, all current production models with different rib adjustment ranges.

MX-15 is (referred by Perazzi) an entry level model with plain non-sculpted receiver. However, it has the best adjustment range among all Perazzis. 6 notches adj. rib.

MX-10 RS is a standard grade unsingle model with higher rib. 4 notches rib.

MX-2000 unsingle is a standard grade model with machine engravings. 5 notches rib.

All above models were based on O/U receivers, capable of accepting O/U barrels.

If one were to purchase one of these unsingles with plans to add O/U barrels later is there any difference in the available or fitting problems that would make one model less desirable than the other?

Nope.. all are square bottom mono-block.. same work fitting the barrel to any of them.. If you get a MX-10 MX-2000 there is no problem getting a O/U barrel that sights line up exactly the same.. The best you can do on a MX-15 is close..

Comb hight need to match your rib adjustments.

Except the rib adjustment range & cosmetic differences, all said models are the same in accepting O/U barrels.
