I am buying Perazzi MX2000 Sporting No.136xxx, it has a bore of 18.4, is it normal or it should have a bore of 18.7.
    Does anyone know?

Usually the newer guns are 18.7 or 18.8. 18.4 may mean the gun is 10 years old or older.

If you want to know the difference and how the guns shoot with 18.4 or 18.7, ask that question.

Nowadays....and for resale purposes, you are better off with 18.7....larger bore sizes are "in" in terms of pattern saturation with modern loads.....

I think "off the shelf" depends on what country the shelf is in. Here in the US 18.7 is very popular. In western Europe 18.4 is still very popular.

if shooting fibre wad shells, I would opt for 18.4 otherwise for plastic wad shells, 18.7 factory bore size is the most widely seen bore size i have seen being sold by dealers in the US followed by 18.8 factory bore.
