Yes! A very good price unless it's a beater. A decent 30/32" version will sell between $2,300 to $3,000 depending on condition. The 28" aren't as strong in the market, but they're not $1,200 weakling either.

Does having a stripe receiver have anything to do with its value?

Condition is everything. It can be in pretty bad condition and you'll still do fine for $1,200. Is it a skeet gun? Do all the serial numbers match?

Sir, Over The years I have been "Told" the MT6 was built in 1976-77 for the Canadian Olympic Shooting Team. I Have not tried to verify this. I have a TM-1 Or Some Call It A Comp -4 Single Barrel W/Choke tubes That has the Striped Receiver. 1200.00 is about 1/2 price for these guns. SUPER BUNKER GUN JMO Joe W.

There're two types of MT6, the original version has groved receiver with unique forend attachment, then the newer type IV MT6 with blued receiver and type IV forend.

The type IV MT6 worth more on today's market. But at $1200, it's a steal even the old version with 27-5/8" barrels. As long as it's fully functional.
