TMX is a top single barrel with a high rib with no rib adjustment
TM1 is a top single barrel with a low rib with no rib adjustment.
MX3 is a top combo with no rib adjustment.

    Short and sweet....

The TM-1 and the TMX are exactly the same receiver. Both are sgl bbl shotguns. The difference between the two are the rib and the buttstock. The TMX has a rib that is about 1/2 higher than the standard rib on the TM-1. Because of the higher rib, the comb on the buttstock is also higher.

The MX-3 has a receiver set up for O/U bbls. The guts are about the same as an MX-8 of the same vintage. The std MX-3 had a few corners cut to lessen the price compared to the MX-8. The MX-3 Special, is pretty much an MX-8 without the fancy side panels.

TM1 is a true single barrel trap gun. TMS is TM1 with factory choke tubes, TM1Special is TM1 with adj. trigger.

TMX is a newer version of TM1 with high rib. All above models were discontinued.

MX-3 is an O/U model with top single barrel & O/U. The trigger fire top barrel first.

TM-10 was a short factory produced run of 50?? TMX with a rib similar to a MX-10.. Fully adjustable.. Adjustable comb and 4P trigger was standard..

The TM-9 I saw last year at the GRAND.. according to Dan.. the only thing that interchanged was the trigger.. Everything else was different.. Better????? No.. different.. I saw no vast difference ... wood??? It did feel good.. but so does a TM-1
