So who was it that had those new style replacement springs that needed a different hole drilled in the trigger housing?

    thanks

The one Ed referring to is made by Marcello in Italy, that doesn't need to drill addition hole. It uses the existing factory hole. You insert a (provided) pin in, cap it from the other side, both springs ride on it. There's no left or right spring, both work on either sides.

The best part of it is, you can change back to factory springs if you want.

I'm not an expert on springs, but I think the radius of the inner bend distribute the stress better than the factory spring.

We should have Dennis DeVault test them against a set of factory springs, for speed..

Because it's shorter than the factory spring, it feels heavier when you cock the hammer by hand, but according to the test Marcello did on this tool, it's the same poundage as factory spring.

I think the Precision kits required drilling a new hole.

Where can you buy these and where? I don't see them on Whiz's website.

Ed, I have the new hammer forged springs, and we install them for you. You can do it also, but make sure the sear spring guides, collars are in place, for the pull triggers. If you have a crappy trigger pull or to much play in the sear release, the new springs will amplify anything wrong with the trigger. You won't believe the trigger response with these springs.
Haven't seen you at Sparta, can't find your way?

Because these springs are direct replacements for standard Perazzi springs, the mount in the rear hole on the trigger housing.

You should not be requird to drill a new hole in the Precision housing, but merely insert the pin and go.

Marcello also has a new reverse threaded pin available. I think Ihad a couple left too.
